Drug-Free Workplace Program

Drug-Free Workplace ProgramRandom Drug Screens, Inc. offers a comprehensive substance abuse program. There are four important components to a successful workplace program: Policy, Education & Training, Drug & Alcohol Testing and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or referrals to an EAP. The following is a brief overview of how we use these components.

POLICY

We assist businesses in developing a substance abuse policy to match their needs. We include the following information:

  • Reasons for initiating drug and alcohol testing
  • Specific work areas where employee will be subjected to testing
  • A time frame for when employees will be tested
  • Sanctions to be applied in the event of a positive test result or refusal to participate

RDSI IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES

  • Guidance, development and policy implementation
  • Provide announcement letters and consent forms

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The more employees learn about a company's drug abuse policy, the less likely they are to use drugs or challenge the policy if there is a positive test result.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING

  • Post job-offer drug testing
  • Post accident drug and alcohol testing
  • Random drug and alcohol testing
  • Follow-up testing for Employee Assistance Program participants

 

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM REFERRAL

Employee Assistance Program is an intervention/counseling program for employees. It provides confidential assistance to employees with personal problems such as drug or alcohol abuse, mental health, financial, family or other difficulties that could be affecting their productivity while at work. Through an EAP, employees receive help to overcome their identified problem. RDS conducts extensive research to locate the best cost-effective program for you.
